This policy explains what data maskedgames.com processes, why, and what control you have over it. It is written to describe this site specifically — not a generic template. It sits alongside our Cookie Policy.

Like any web server, ours records the request: IP address, date and time, the page requested, the referring page, and your browser and operating system string. These logs are used to keep the site running, investigate errors and detect abuse such as automated scraping. They are not used to build a profile of you.
When you rate a game, we store the rating against the game, together with a technical marker used only to prevent the same visitor rating a game repeatedly. Ratings are not published against your identity, because we do not have one.
We use Google Analytics to see which games and pages are used, roughly where visitors come from and which devices they use. We use this to decide which games to keep and which pages to fix. The reporting we see is aggregated.
The site is free because advertising pays for it. Our partners are Google AdSense (display advertising) and AdinPlay (the short video that may play before a game starts). These companies are independent of us and act as their own data controllers: they decide what they collect and how they use it, under their own policies. See how Google uses data in advertising.
We use OneSignal for optional browser notifications about new games. This is only activated if you explicitly allow notifications when your browser asks. If you ignore or dismiss that prompt, nothing is stored. You can withdraw permission at any time in your browser's site settings.
If you contact us, we keep your message and address for as long as needed to deal with it and to keep a record of copyright matters.
Where the GDPR applies, we rely on: legitimate interests for server logs, security and basic site functionality; and consent for analytics, advertising cookies and push notifications. You can withdraw consent at any time — see "Your Choices" below.
Our service providers, including Google, may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Those transfers rely on the safeguards those providers put in place, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
Cookie notice. Clearing your browser data for this site makes the notice appear again so you can change your answer.
Your browser. You can block or delete cookies and clear local storage in any major browser. The games will still run.
Advertising. You can adjust or turn off personalised Google advertising at Google Ad Settings.
Analytics. Google offers a browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, to receive it in a portable form, and to complain to your data protection authority. Because we do not operate accounts, we usually hold nothing that identifies you personally; if you make a request we will explain what, if anything, we can match to you. The site is family-friendly and requires no registration. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Parents who want to limit data collection should block non-essential cookies in the browser their child uses. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, write to us and we will delete it.
The site is served over HTTPS and access to the server is restricted. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Pages on this site may link to sites we do not operate. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Significant changes will also be reflected in the consent notice.
