How to Play Basket Bros

Basket Bros unblocked is 1v1 basketball played by two wobbling ragdolls who never quite land where they intended. The court is small, the ball is loose and the physics are only halfway serious, which is exactly why a single possession can turn three times before anyone scores. Shooting is a timing problem. You press jump, and pressing it again at the top of your arc releases the ball, so the difference between a clean bucket and an airball is a fraction of a second. Defence is a contact problem: the same key steals, blocks and shoves, and using it a moment too early leaves you on the floor while your opponent walks in for a dunk. Air combos reward players who keep pressing, which is where the flashy finishes come from. There is more here than a quick match. You can practise alone, take on the computer, hand the other half of the keyboard to a friend for the classic two player game, or go into online matchmaking against another player. On a phone or tablet the game swaps to on-screen buttons, so the same match works with touch. • Release at the top of the jump rather than on the way up, because the shot leaves your hands where you press and the arc is set from that point.
• Step back before shooting when your opponent is close, since a contested release is far more likely to rattle out than a clean one.
• On defence, jump to block only after your opponent has committed, as an early jump gives them an open lane to the rim.
• Rebounds decide more possessions than shots do, so land facing the rim rather than facing your opponent.
• Air combos are worth learning for the dunks, but on a tight scoreline a simple two-pointer is the safer way to close out.
