How to Play DRAMA

DRAMA is a tricky platformer built around puzzles rather than pure movement. You play as Frank, and the job in each of the 96 levels is to run, jump and swing your way to the exit without dying. Some levels ask you to find hidden objects, some ask for straightforward platforming skill, and some want everything you have at once.

The accounting is what makes it interesting. You start with 1000 lives, and every death costs one and leaves your body where it fell. Requesting a clue costs a life as well, and so does restarting a level, so the two things you would normally reach for when stuck are both priced. Time is controlled too, and the stated goal is to guide Frank to the exit using the least time and the fewest lives possible.

Progression runs through those 96 levels, with new puzzle elements added as you get deeper rather than handed to you at the start, so the set of obstacles you are reasoning about keeps growing.
