Among Them Jumper is a casual climbing game with one line of purpose: move an Among Us character up as many platforms as possible. Points come from the climb itself, so height and score are the same measurement, and beating your own record is the only target the game sets.

The complication is what waits on the way up. Enemies and spikes are both named as hazards, and they are not the same problem. The bomb eliminates all enemies on the screen at once, while spikes are simply there to be avoided. That makes the bomb a timing question rather than a button: used on a near-empty screen it clears very little, and used on a busy one it clears everything at the moment it matters.

The other pick-ups pull in the opposite direction. Shields and jumpers protect you and add more points, so a detour towards one can be worth more than the platforms it costs to reach it. What improves between attempts is judgement about which pick-ups are worth chasing, how closely you can pass a hazard, and when the bomb earns its keep, which is the whole of the progression in a game scored on records.
